These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Name Done API, website, and associated services (the “Service”) operated by Name Done Ltd (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must provide a valid email address and password to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
You will be issued API keys that begin with nd_. API keys are long-lived secrets. You are responsible for safeguarding them and must not share them publicly or embed them in client-side code accessible to end users. You may revoke and regenerate keys at any time via the portal. We are not liable for unauthorised use of your API keys.

The Service is offered in tiered plans: Free, Pro, and Enterprise. The Free plan includes 10,000 tokens per month at no cost. Pro and Enterprise plans are billed monthly or annually in GBP. Annual billing receives a 15% discount. Soft overage on paid plans is charged at £0.50 per 1,000 tokens beyond your plan limit. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The autocomplete data served by the API is derived from open government data sources. You are responsible for complying with the attribution requirements of those sources, as described on our Data Sources page.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Free plan is provided without an uptime guarantee. The Enterprise plan includes a 99.9% uptime SLA. We may schedule maintenance windows with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control, including third-party infrastructure failures.
The Name Done name, logo, website design, and software are our intellectual property. The autocomplete data served by the API is derived from open government data and is licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. You retain all rights to the applications you build using the Service.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if your account remains inactive for 12 months, or if required by law. Upon termination, your API keys will be revoked and your data will be deleted in accordance with our retention policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to registered users at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
